SPS - Smart Production Solutions, the showcase for the automation industry, kicks off tomorrow and will once again live up to its name this year: from drive and control technology to sensor technology, energy supply and connectivity solutions through to machine learning and AI solutions for production automation, the range of solutions on show in Nuremberg until November 16 will be extensive.
In light of global crises, high energy costs, persistent global supply chain problems and the growing shortage of qualified workers, industry in Europe is facing the challenge of further increasing the efficiency of its own production. Although most companies have already highly automated their production, this often only applies to simpler, repetitive tasks. To increase the productivity of more complex tasks and integrate automation solutions across departmental and company boundaries, a move towards electronic and digital solutions is necessary - and many of these can be seen at the trade fair.
Shortly before the start of the trade fair, almost 1,300 companies have confirmed their participation in the event and are taking the opportunity to present their product innovations.
A number of Euroconnectors partners will also be presenting their industry solutions at the trade fair and inviting visitors to attend (the link leads to the partner's trade fair page):
